Sketching

Today I bought myself a gift- a brand new sketch pad full of lovely blank pages. I've decided that along with taking a picture every day with my camera, I'll be doing a little sketch every day. It felt really good to get back to my artistic roots, even if only a very small way (the drawing is only about 2" wide). Of course, the first sketch had to be of some of my favorite things: BOOKS!

even just looking at them makes me happy.
