Meet Natasha, our lovely Salado spokesmodel. We went downtown bright and early this past weekend to beat the heat and had so much fun shooting in several locations, including some new ones. I just loved the marque at the Paramount theater (ET and Raiders of the Lost Ark are playing now). We ended up at the Airstream cafes on Congress. Too bad we were there before they opened- I was dying for a sno cone! Thanks so much, Natasha for an amazing shoot. I can't wait for our studio session this weekend!
Today I bought myself a gift- a brand new sketch pad full of lovely blank pages. I've decided that along with taking a picture every day with my camera, I'll be doing a little sketch every day. It felt really good to get back to my artistic roots, even if only a very small way (the drawing is only about 2" wide). Of course, the first sketch had to be of some of my favorite things: BOOKS!
Imagine seeing yourself on life-sized banners, water bottles and programs at an international photographers' convention in Las Vegas. Our Hutto senior model Holli doesn't have to imagine- she experienced it first hand! We sent her comp card to Senior Portraits Artists (SPA) along with a few other images and she ended up being one of only 15 chosen in the world to model at the SPA Event. She won an all expense paid trip to Red Rock spa resort in Las Vegas and received VIP treatment while there. If you're a 2010 graduate and are photographed by us, you have the option of being entered in Senior Portrait Artists's annual contest as long as your session takes place by September 1st. If you choose to add on a studio session, we will go over everything you're looking for, what options are available and ideas of our own. Each studio session is built around what's going to show off your features and wardrobe best. If you love striking a pose, rocking out to your iPod and want that magazine look, this is definitely for you! Studio sessions have limited availability so if you would like one, book early.
